Dr. Yashpal Singh Malik, elected Fellow in 2024, is a renowned veterinary virologist born in Hisar, Haryana, in 1973. He serves as Dean, College of Animal Biotechnology, GADVASU, Ludhiana.
With a Ph.D. from CCS HAU and postdoctoral training at the University of Minnesota, he has held key roles in national and international virological bodies including WHO and ICTV.
His research spans viral disease epidemiology, zoonotic viruses, diagnostics, and vaccine development. A recipient of numerous prestigious awards, he is a Fellow of six leading scientific academies.
