Dr. M.R. Saseendranath, Former Director Academics & Research of KVASU and National Consultant, UNFAO, CERF Project, received his PhD from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) during 1994.
He has over 35 years of professional experience including more than 20 years of teaching and 11 years of administrative experience.
A Fellow of the National Academy of Veterinary Science and the Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine, he is also a recipient of the Bharat Ratna Dr. C. Subramaniam Award of ICAR for outstanding teaching during 2004-2005.
