Dr. Kalkidan Esayas
Consultant

Dr. Kalkidan Esayas is an Ethiopian ecologist, conservation biologist and sustainable-development consultant specialising in climate action, biodiversity, climate-smart agriculture, food security and inclusive community development. She holds a PhD in Ecological and Systematic Zoology from Addis Ababa University and is a 2023 alumna of the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program at UC Berkeley. Her work connects scientific research, ESG, green entrepreneurship and capacity building to strengthen climate resilience and empower women and youth.
