Dr. Mandar Godge is the CEO of GRAIN International and a Global Council Member of the World Agriculture Forum. He is a leading authority in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) with over 30 years of experience. He has pioneered the Crop Booster Programme for CEA, developed non-GMO biofortification techniques, and holds IP for light-regulated crop enhancement. Dr. Godge has led multi-million-dollar research initiatives funded by top Singapore agencies and currently heads a regional agritech enterprise focused on producing climate-resilient, nutrient-dense superfoods.
His research and leadership drive next-generation R&D in non-GMO nutritional modulation, sustainability-centred breeding strategies, and light-regulated crop enhancement for CEA. He has been instrumental in developing technologies for high-value functional and medicinal plants within Integrated Controlled Environment Agriculture (iCEA) systems, advancing global innovation in sustainable agrifood production.
