Akshay is a multi-faceted development professional, contributing to socio-economic development to create impact at scale. He is a TEDx speaker, Social Entrepreneur and Agribusiness Consultant who has always dreamt of giving back to the society where he belonged, a tribal region of Maharashtra.
From growing up in a Naxalite-prone area and learning in roofless classrooms without teachers to working with the Government, Corporates, Big 4’s, Philanthropic & Eminent Institutions and to leading an Agritech startup to transform the livelihood of underprivileged communities across India — his journey has been an immense mixture of hard work and dedication.
Currently, he is leading Salam Kisan, an Agritech startup, as Chief Operating Officer.
