Mansoor Alhosani

Program Director, National Agricultural Empowerment Program
Mansoor Alhosani is an agricultural researcher and youth leader specializing in horticulture, sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and food security. His research focuses on science-based solutions for arid environments, including carbon sequestration in native plants, date palm pollen conservation, and climate-smart wheat production.
As a Member of the Emirates Youth Council for Agriculture, Mansoor contributes to youth engagement and agricultural development initiatives, including Agricultural Youth Ambassadors, the Young Farmer Seal, and the Emirates Youth Agriculture Community. As Program Director of the National Agricultural Empowerment Program, he supports young Emiratis through agricultural innovation, entrepreneurship, modern technologies, and collaboration across government, research, and industry.
His international experience includes representing the UAE and UAEU at the 32nd International Horticultural Congress in Kyoto, participating in an academic program at Wageningen University & Research, leading a UAEU student delegation to China, and joining the FAO YALA FAST program in Morocco.
