Dr. Shashank Shekhar is a seasoned expert in bioinformatics and computational biology, with over two decades of experience in advancing high-performance computing and biological data infrastructure. His work has been instrumental in strengthening scientific research systems and enabling data-driven innovation in the life sciences. Prior to his current role at IBDC, he made significant contributions to the Genome to Hit initiative and the Supercomputing Facility for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at IIT Delhi. His ongoing efforts continue to support the growth of advanced computing capabilities for India’s biological research ecosystem.
