Ihab Habib is an Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Epidemiology, Food Safety, and Veterinary Public Health at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He is the founder and head of the Veterinary Public Health Research Laboratory, which he established in 2019 to strengthen research and training capacity in One Health and zoonotic foodborne pathogens. Prior to joining UAEU, he served as Lecturer and later Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology at Murdoch University Dr. Habib’s research focuses on food safety across the entire supply chain, from “ farm to fork”
