The GSFRED–ARCC Conference convened scientists, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to address evolving challenges across agriculture and food systems, with a focus on climate-resilient and sustainable approaches.

Driving impactful dialogue, knowledge exchange, and actionable outcomes
With rising greenhouse gas emissions, increasing climate variability, and growing pressure on natural resources, agriculture stands at a critical inflection point. Projections indicate significant temperature rise and shifts in rainfall patterns across India, directly impacting productivity, ecosystems, and livelihoods.
GSFRED 2026 was positioned to address these challenges by enabling research-led strategies for:
Strengthening agricultural systems to withstand climate variability and environmental change.
Maximizing efficiency of soil, water, and inputs through data-driven management.
Enhancing yields through regenerative, science-backed agricultural practices.
Securing food systems while preserving ecosystems and supporting resilient communities.

Focused areas shaping the future of agricultural science and sustainability

ARCC Journals (Agricultural Research Communication Centre) is a consortium of agricultural and animal research centres and institutes based in India. The organization was founded in 1967 with highly experienced scientists from all over India on its editorial board to foster communication and collaboration among research institutes focused on agricultural, veterinary, dairy, foods, and related fields.
ARCC has been publishing academic journals since its founding, starting with the publication of the following journals
