Event Summary – GARCX 2025

The inaugural Global AgroVet Research Conference (GARCX 2025), powered by ARCC Journals, successfully concluded in Dubai, UAE, on November 10–11, 2025, marking a significant milestone in global agricultural and veterinary research collaboration.

Held at the Dusit Thani Dubai, the conference brought together a diverse group of international experts, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers under the critical theme: One Health: Integrating Agriculture, Animal and Food Science for a Sustainable Future.

The primary goal of GARCX 2025 was to establish an interdisciplinary platform to address global challenges in agriculture and animal health.

Key Outcomes

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Successfully fostered high-level discussions between experts in veterinary science, livestock, crop management, and food science, promoting the holistic “One Health” approach.
  • Focus on Sustainability: A central takeaway, particularly from the panel on Sustainable Agriculture, Food, and Soil Health, emphasized that sustainable agriculture is built on three interconnected pillars:

  • Clean, well-managed water
  • Informed communities

  • Arid Climate Adaptation: Featured insightful sessions and solutions tailored for challenging environments, including composting, salinity management, and the complementary roles of controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) and traditional soil-based farming.
  • Global Participation: GARCX 2025 involved 200+ delegates and 35+ speakers from more than 20 countries.
  • The inaugural edition was strengthened by the presence of officials from major government bodies, academia, and industry experts from agriculture, animal science, and the food industry.
  • AAAID Participation: The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development highlighted its focus on ESG principles and innovative financing tools such as green bonds to accelerate adoption of modern agricultural technologies.
